Payment through American Express Credit Card
These days, a credit card has become almost a necessity. Why, since I cancelled my American Express credit card, I have been unable to partake of a wide variety of goods and services, and that is no joke. I don’t think I realized how many of the most basic things in life relied on having a credit card, even to joining my local gym in Philadelphia. The old days of cash as the preferred method of doing obtaining goods have gone.
It’s now normal almost everywhere in the world to use your Mastercard, Visa or American Express to pay for goods or services you may not even need with money they do not have. Your American Express card may be convenient but there is a heavy penalty for buying now and paying later. Money owed to credit card companies is increasing everywhere. In America it is true to say that credit card debt is probably one of the biggest problems facing us.
Canceling my American Express credit card was something I had to do as I much as I hated doing it. Parting with your money that you don’t see leaving you is easy and makes you spend more. I was using my card for just about everything, but I soon noticed the debts were mounting. Panic kicked in when I found I could no longer pay the debt.
It took a debt consultancy specialist to finally get me back into a position where I actually started to pay my debt off. It was like being in a living nightmare. It took some time but the American Express credit card has gone and so has my debt. It’s easy to blame the credit card you may say, but you need to understand something about people.
You have more control when you see the cash actually coming out of your pocket. But like I said before, a credit card made everything way too easy. I would spend money on everything, almost like a person possessed but before long, there wasn’t anything left. Now there is no American Express credit card; so no problem.
